Better Walks is designed as a local-first observation and reflection tool.

What Better Walks stores

The information you enter—such as your dog’s name, triggers, distances, reactions, recovery and notes—is stored locally on your device.

What we do not collect

Better Walks does not require an account and does not operate its own analytics, advertising or tracking service. We do not collect location, contacts, photos or microphone recordings.

Purchases and Apple Watch

Apple processes purchases through StoreKit. Apple Watch transfers use Apple’s device-to-device systems. Apple’s own privacy policy applies to those services.

Exports and deletion

PDF and JSON exports leave the app only when you deliberately choose a destination in Apple’s share sheet. Delete local records in Profile → Data → Delete all local data.
